Rules and other information

Welcome to Louisiana Camping. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read the board rules to get you acquainted with our community.

• Multiple registrations are prohibited. Please don't do it.
• Please use a title that describes the content of your post.
• Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
• Try to post in the correct board.
• Try to refrain from thread hijacking. If you have a question about something, please start your own thread.
• No links to content of a questionable nature such as, sexually oriented websites. We try to maintain a family oriented atmosphere.
• Although cursing is not encouraged, we know there will be instances where words will come out. We have filters for certain words. Do not try to circumvent these filters.
• There’s a difference between spamming and plugging. We can tell the difference. If your first post is a scripted advertisement for a product trying to be sold, then you will certainly be banned. It’s not a good idea to join the board with the intent of trying to sell something to its members. We will not object to you posting links to either your personal websites or other commercial projects which you support. This is a privilege which you are allowed as a contributing user.
• Commercial advertising is not allowed in the classifieds section. This section is reserved for contributing members. To advertise commercially on the site, please use our contact form
• Members with a post count under 5 cannot post links. Once your post count has reached 5, you will be able to post links. This excludes links in image tags.
• Using the forum, email, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members is not tolerated.
