UPDATE: Park is now open.

Bayou Segnette State Park is closed to the public, effective immediately. The site will serve as a potential overflow isolation site, as the New Orleans area is the most impacted at this time. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we are doing our part to help minimize the impact of COVID-19 to the state of Louisiana.

The Louisiana state parks system will end a requirement that guests must stay at least three nights during weekday bookings at its campgrounds and cabins.

The minimum weekday stay ends Dec. 9 For all Louisiana State Parks with hopes of giving overnight guests and campers more flexibility.

Reservations for overnight stays can be made at www.ReserveLaStateParks.com or by calling 877-226-7652, up to 48 hours ahead of the check-in. If it's less than 48 hours from the visit, reservations must be made by calling a park directly.
